p&ssed me off yesterday, at the beginning when he said "whose side
is HE going to play for?" then he didn't t respond when I asked him
about the Leeds v Milan tickets (*I like to watch a decent game like
that) - none of the lads came to my birthday party.. then half way
through changed me with Paul? ..I know you all are forward
players, and I am probably the only natural defender in the group,
but I felt like an outsider, the kid who is last to get picked for the
team..
funny that the only ones
who noticed how I play were the 2 german lads who complimented me. I
realise I am a "late-comer" to this group,, but its obvious that
almost every game is dictated by having one player who is half the age
of everyone else hogging the ball and with pace that at 72 I certainly
have problems to deny.. "walking football" ? my arse!
everyone is in a rush to leave at 1 Pm.. well I am not...
I like to get wipe off the sweat, drink some water and changed back into another shirt after the game etc..
